Sarah has handled various real estate transactions, including the sale and leaseback of commercial property and transactions involving cooperative and condominium apartments in the New York City market.

Before Reid Scofield, Sarah managed her own firm for over 14 years, focusing on trusts and estates, closely-held businesses, and real estate matters, with New York and Denver offices, after working in the private client and business practice areas of New York law firms.

Actively engaged in professional organizations, Sarah is a member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of New York City, and the Institute for Family Governance. She chairs and co-founded the Colorado Chapter of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners) and serves on the Professional Advisors Committee for The Denver Foundation. As a Leaders Council Member of the UHNW Institute, she engages with thought-partners on fostering dynamic collaboration across the gamut of multigenerational family advisors.

She has been selected to present on New York Real Estate Brokerage Law for Congrès CNA in Montpellier, France, and Planned Giving and Charitable Organization CLEs with Literacy Partners Planned Giving and Hudson Valley Bank. Sarah served on the Opening Act Social Board and has volunteered as a speaker with W!SE Institute (Working in Support of Education), McGraw Hill’s Financial Literacy Now, and Young Women’s Network Career Day, and as a volunteer judge with the Empire City Invitational and ABA National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition.
